About

Teaching approach

My teaching approach focuses on consistency rather than quick wins. Regular, manageable practice over time leads to far better progress than infrequent long sessions.

Lessons evolve over time, covering a range of techniques and musical concepts, with songs used to show how those ideas apply in real music.

Many students come to me feeling unsure about what they should be practising or whether they're spending their time on the right things. Without a clear sense of direction, staying consistent can be difficult.

Clarity, structure, and steady progress — without guessing what to practise next.
